ZEB is Belgium’s largest multi-brand fashion retailer with 69 stores nationally. Although responsive, the ZEB site was not designed from a mobile-first perspective. The page load speeds were slow, and the site did not deliver an optimal user experience. In addition to revenue, cost and speed challenges, there were also concerns around security vulnerabilities and problems with the ERP (NAVISION) integration.
Apoyar were initially engaged to improve the level of support being delivered to the in-house team. This was achieved by providing a dedicated team based out of Apoyar’s Indian office, who were available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for immediate support escalations and scheduled support and performance checks. Having the support team on hand 24/7 ensured issues were identified and fixed before the European start of business day.
Apoyar then managed the migration of their Magento 1 eCommerce platform to Magento 2, which was a complex migration involving a number of third-party integrations. These integrations included support for the Navision ERP system and others, including Tweakwise, Froomle, BPost and setting up a new Payment Gateway.
